A common syllabus and medium of instruction is followed in all the Kendriya Vidyalaya from Classes I to VIII. In classes IX to XII, CBSE course is followed.
As such Science and Mathematics is taught in English and Social Science in both English and Hindi. Separate sections for students offering English medium and Hindi medium are running for Social Science. CBSE syllabus is followed at various stages with text books prescribed by NCERT. |
